Neden Helene ismi (ve türevleri) hep uzakta olan, bitmiş olan, farkında olmadan da olsa kötü olan, ayartmış olan, ortalığı uzaktan da olsa ateşe vermiş olan, fitili çekmiş olan oluyor? Filmlerde, hikayelerde, romanlarda, şiirlerde ve tabii gerçek hayatta. helene, helen, eleni, elena... Troy efsanesi ve La belle Helene'i zaten geçiyorum derdim ama yıllarca şiir sevmeyen bana İrlanda aşkına şiir okutmuş W. Butler Yeats'de karşıma çıktı. Daha öncesi de Roxy sebebiyle olur (kulüp olan değil, insan olan, eskilerden olan).
